Since its creation, the Verbal laboratory has always developed a high technology range of lenses, covering more than 98% of the patients’ needs. Being aware of the last innovations in terms of materials or surface coatings, Verbal has continually been engaged in research and development in order to build a technical avant-garde offer. So, the laboratory was one of the first that has provided, in 2008, on the French market, the thinnest lens of the world (1.76 index).
With a general and complete ophthalmic range of lenses (single vision, bifocal, degressive…), the expertise of Verbal Laboratory leads to the manufacture of progressive lenses. The range is covering all the patients’ needs (also suitable for small frames). In addition to the manufacture of the lenses, the Verbal Laboratory is also successful in the application of the anti reflection treatments, as far as the organic lenses field is concerned. What has to be mentioned is the development of the most advanced technologies that enables the production of the coating “Diamide Top”, ultra multicoating with 10 convex and 10 concave coats that is hydrophobic, oleophobic, anti-static and includes a hardened coating. Aesthetic performances have been achieved as well as a protection against scratches and optical features designed to respond perfectly to the requirements of todays’s wearers. The Verbal ophthalmic Laboratory is also the specialist of the therapeutic filters with the exclusive manufacture of the Lucéo® and CPF® brands. Those lenses are especially dedicated to the patients suffering from the following pathologies: cataracts, glaucoma, AMD (-age-related macular degeneration) and other photophobia.
